Thank you, PortMoresby. I know you would enjoy Argentina -- probably more so the smaller towns and cities than massive Buenos Aires. The journey is still new and we're in Patagonia now -- very much looking forward to seeing everything here.

Re: How do you use the internet while traveling?
I have not been to Japan, but generally my travel experience with internet access has been much more positive than yours. I've generally had good luck with getting on line in Europe, South America and even Southern Africa. Once in a while the internet might be down at a place I'm staying at, but usually it's quickly repaired. Exceptions to this are very rural areas, like in Patagonia and where I'm heading next week, Yellowstone National Park. There is really not internet available at most...

Visited the city as a port stop 28 January 2003. Cloudy when we arrived but soon the rain pounded us. Here's a pic of the maid's room in the Museo Regional Braun Menedez. A really outstanding lunch was at the Hotel Jose Nogueira's La Pergola restaurant while the rain showered its glass roof.

Such a magnificent and beautiful place. I think the vast remoteness adds to the appeal of Patagonia. One of my top bucket list places to visit some day. Thank you for the awesome pictures.

Puerto Natales is a small town in the Patagonian region of Chile. Formerly a sheep-ranching town, it's now a gateway to Torres del Paine park, as well as to the giant sloth caves in the region. It's small, but has a lot of colorful art.

There are lots wild horses in Patagonia. These particular equines weren't fenced in and probably were wild, but I'm not completely sure about that. By the way, good work at solving this puzzle, George!s You nailed it down to the name of the train stop where the photo was taken.
