When this Museum opened I offered to give some D-Day artefacts from my father. But they had enough to fill the rooms already. But they were very polite and thanked me.

With so much disinformation and plain ignorance about our recent history, it can sometimes takes a harrowing experience to bring home the scale of man's inhumanity to man. Re: Indoor Farmers Market at Hyatt Regency, Waikiki
Hi there Pheymont. It was really interesting and different. I actually work with someone here in CO who has an aunt that works at the hotel next door to the Hyatt. While visiting with her, she told us she usually grabs some fresh fruit and veggies every week. She says it is much better than at the store. Look forward to going the next time we are in the area. Thanks for your comment.

Rereading your essay after several years reminded me how important it is that we not let the 'big issues' of our times and of our past become just words and stories in a museum. It is so important to be in and feel actual places, and to remember that these events happened not to countries or movements or the like, but to ordinary people who were like ourselves. Thank you.
