Great piece and photos! You've convinced me to make a longer trip to NYC. My short stays don't do your spectacular city justice.

Wave Hill, the former estate of the Perkins family, is one of New York's most beautiful treasures, and one of its least known. It shouldn't be!

Recently we were in Vancouver, Canada and we were lucky enough to spend a little bit of time at Queen Elizabeth Park. It is a 130-acre jewel on Little Mountain. It is 152 meters above sea level and is the highest point in Vancouver. We were there on a very beautiful day and enjoyed walking around and soaking up the amazing atmosphere. I was amazed at how many things there were to see and do. Here are a few: Arboretum Celebration Pavilion Bloedel Floral Conservatory Fountains/Plaza Quarry...

Gumbo was at very interesting Jacksonvillle Arboretum & Gardens.

It's a beautiful park! I've actually visited it a few times and your photos bring back nice memories.
