Not all English kings were so kindly treated, either. Richard III, buried without ceremony or proper marker in an abbey chapel had to wait 530 years for a proper tomb in Leicester Cathedral, after being found under a modern car park. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...chard_III_of_England
