Re: Minneapolis in the winter

Ottoman ·
Hi Theodore! I am a Mall of America fan. You can easily spend an entire weekend (or many evenings) at the Mall of America. First of all, the mall is very easy to get to by train from downtown (CICAK did a wonderful job explaining that), and fares are quite cheap (fares go for about $1.75 to $2.25 one way depending on what time of day you ride). As CICAK also mentioned, there is something for everybody at the mall. If you just want to find a warm dry place to walk and people watch, I believe...

Re: Gumbo's Pic of the Day, May 7th, 2014: Bees

Still Country Photo ·
Sure PortMoresby, the two cameras I use are a Pentax K10D dSLR with a Pentax DA 55-300 mm f4-5.8 lens and the other is a Panasonic Lumix TS2. The Lumix takes macro pictures like nothing else I have used, I am learning to get better at taking macro with my K10D but am still not as good yet as I am with the Lumix. Re: Mar. 30, 2016: Bus Stop, Venice

TravelingCanuck ·
My wife and I paid a visit to Venice in December 1989. Being the off season it was not very crowded and the prices were great. We had our hotel right beside the Rialto bridge. Venice was fantastic for just wandering through the maze of streets?? and canals. There was always some little shop or café to discover around the next corner. Hope to return in the future. Thanks for the memories.
