Bangkok is a city of waterways. Modern skyscrapers, beautiful homes alongside shanties, and Buddhist temples share the water view with colorful water birds and the water monitors, lizards that grows to be 10 feet long.
The Yamunotri region of India is up north in the Himalayas. This place is the source of Holy Yamuna River which has great significance in Hinduism. I made this photo on the way to Yamunotri.

Located at the northern end of Thimpu Valley in Bhutan, Tango Goemba has held religious significance since the 12th century when it was home of the Lama who brought the Drukpa Kagyupa school of Buddhism to Bhutan.
Iran is one of the cradles of our civilizations: the Persian Empire shaped the early history of mankind. It is famous for its craftsmanship, its architecture, tile work, its unparalleled Persian carpets and literature to name a few.
The Thousand Islands Lake is a artificial lake located in the southwest of the city of Hangzhou. There are 1,078 islands dotting a lake that covers 567.4 square kilometers.
Of the thousands of photos I’ve taken in Sri Lanka over the years, this grouping remains among my favorites.

While visiting Xi’an, the city where the famous Emperor Qin’s Terracotta Museum is located, we came cross a massive “Xi’an Dumpling House” — a tourist popular restaurant which serves up to 25 different types of carefully crafted dumplings.
