November 11, 2018: Clearing storm, Rocky Mountains
I drove through the Crowsnest Pass this week, just after a storm had moved over the Continental Divide. The fresh snow on the Rocky Mountains and soft light were quite lovely.

DrFumblefinger enjoys a lovely view of Peyto Lake, situated near Bow Summit in the Alberta Rockies.
One day while flying into downtown Calgary, all the elements clicked and DrFumblefinger got some nice photos of the city’s skyline.
One of DrFumblefinger’s favorite mountains is Crowsnest mountain. He captured it at dusk, with Seven Sisters mountain behind it and to the left. Quintessential Rockies!

DrFumblefinger loves visiting old mining towns, of which there are many in Colorado. One of the most interesting is the town of Gold Hill, formed before Colorado had even been granted statehood.
