Virgin Atlantic shifts its mix of planes, going for a somewhat-less-jumbo big plane that will still hold over 400 passengers.

Virgin will take over Delta’s Portland to London service, while Delta shifts its plane to open a new Portland to UK service.
Virgin America may be up for sale, and there are reported offers from JetBlue and Alaska Airlines, with Delta possibly coming to the table as well.
Both American, which already flies the route and Delta, which doesn’t, are adding flights between Philadelphia and London—and increased competition usually means an opening for some sales as well…keep an eye peeled!
