Gumbo was visiting an excellent museum in Denver, its Nature and Science Museum. The museum has many galleries as part of its permanent exhibits and featured two interesting exhibits when DrFumblefinger visited, one on the Dead Sea Scrolls and one on Nature’s Bioluminescence.
Gumbo was visiting the India-Pakistan border crossing at Wagah. A popular flag-lowering ceremony takes place just before sunset every day.

Land’s End, at San Francisco’s northwest corner, is a great spot for walks and photos, and has a fascinating story as well.

We visit the Citadel, Halifax’ historic fort. Situated above the city’s downtown and harbor, the site is presented much as it was 200 years ago. Be sure to visit the interesting Army Museum within the Citadel.
