Thailand is well known for it’s busy and bustling markets that are lined up with stalls and shops. Tourists get the privilege to shop at every corner on the streets of Thailand for various items that may catch their attention.

Any amount of time can be spent lurking in the markets of this country and make sure not to get intimidated by the energy of the markets.

Chatuchak; Weekend market that opens only on Saturday and Sunday; the riverside market Asiatique Night Market are a few places to be in, in order to experience Thai markets.

2. Historic parks and national parks

This country is home to tons of historic parks where tourists and visitors get to experience the ruins of ancient civilization in the area.

It is no less than a movie scene where it feels like some mysterious secret or energy is lurking in the area and the national parks in the area are enchanting too.

With lots of greenery and amazing wild life these two activities are not to be missed.

Some of the top national parks and historic parks are Doi Inthanon national Park, Khao Yai national Park, Sai Yok National Park, Phimai Historic park,

Phanom Rung Historic Park and maybe visit Thilosu waterfall, Khao Sai Dao Waterfall and, Erawan Waterfall .

3. Kanchanabur

It is a place with lush green forest, high – rolling hills and many other attractions such as the Death Railway.

It is said this place is haunted by the spirits of the prisoners of war who were forced to build the railway during WWII and it is not a happy thing but, tourists visit it nevertheless.

Covered in the hills and trees this place is known to attract many tourists all year round due to it creepy vibe and the bridge of River Kwai is said to be the same with that chilly vibe.

4. Floating markets

Now who wants to go look for vegetables in the market of Thailand? No one? Think twice, cause it is unlike any market you have seen and it is one of the cheap things to do in Thailand.

it is an experience, adventure as well as light bonding with locals in its own unique manner.

Don’t forget to take your camera with you and take a boat early to avoid the crowd and shop in the floating market of this paradise.

Locals sell variety of colorful items in the market plus the boat ride makes it a hell of an experience.

5. Festivals

On a journey to one of the most beautiful destination in South – East Asia visitors are welcomed with open arms and smiling faces.

What, why do they welcome tourists with such hospitality? Because it is festival season guys!!

The reason is based on their moral principles and values where during festivals and occasions all the guests are treated with respect and love.

Thai new year water festival is one not to miss (November), Naga Fireballs – a natural phenomenon that can only be witnessed once a year (October).
