EasyJet is sending a fleet of its aisle carts into London streets with flight attendants delivering complimentary drinks and snacks to London doorsteps.
In a combination of charity fund-raiser with publicity stunt and work for its idled flight attendants, EasyJet is asking recipients to donate to Age UK, a charity providing services to the elderly.
The trial run for the service, done in partnership with food-delivery firm Deliveroo, takes place on December 17 and 18, offering, among other items, gin and tonic, Prosecco, nuts and olives. The airline also says it hopes the exercise will help “keep the cabin crew match fit.”
If you’re in London, you can request a delivery online.
